Service Coordinator 



Main tasks

  • Collaborating with the local service teams to plan and coordinate service schedules for the region including service calls, maintenance, breakdowns, repairs, commissioning, installations, demonstrations and training sessions
  • Coordination with all regions for effective and cost-efficient scheduling
  • Responsible for the daily scheduling and planning of all field service technical activities
  • Administration and maintenance of all relevant service documents as per company guidelines and processes
  • Surveillance of spare parts business (follow up, deliveries, pricing)
  • Creation of Service Tickets within the system to address customer requests
  • Monitoring and tracking of Service Tickets
  • Checking weekly the service team’s Time Sheets and Job Reports
  • Preparation of service reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing repair information with the aim of optimizing productivity and managing overtime
  • Tracking of maintenance contracts
  • Ensuring open communication channels the role acts as the customer interface between the client and the service technicians
  • Coordinating meetings with the appropriate Service team members and Sales Engineers prior to installation to ensure customer’s installation expectations are met
  • Follow up with customers prior to installations to ensure pre-installation requirements are met
  • Generation of Service Contract proposals and other service work
  • Occasional visits the clients’ premises are required for training or projects
  • Execute service activities in cases of complex interventions or when extra resources are required due to a lack of manpower capacity
  • Escalates complex cases as per company procedures to Escalation Manager
  • Responsible for the optimal functioning of the showroom (demo package, customer demonstrations)

Your profile

  •  Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in mechanical and electrical installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance, of CNC machine tools and automations
  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills; understands the efficiencies of routine yet prepares for the unexpected
  • Demonstrated skill at managing multiple tasks and competing priorities efficiently within a high stress environment in which timeliness, consistency and accuracy are essential
  • Customer service focus with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective client relationships
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; must be able to articulate technology to both business and technical users
  • Results-oriented, self-directed and the ability to work in a consultative, solution-oriented sales environment
