Product Sales Manager (m/f/d) CO products and automation products 



Main Tasks



  • Active support to the area sales and service operations as a technical expert and knowledge multiplier for product lines from Japanese DMG MORI factories (“CO Products”) and automations 
  • Active support to the area sales and service operations as a technical expert and knowledge multiplier for all CO and automation products
  • Technical consultation throughout the customer acquisition and customer service process
  • Building and fostering of strong business relationship with factories in scope, Managing Directors and Area Sales Managers 
  • Drafting of technical quotations in cooperation with Area Sales Managers and the specialized departments across the company
  • Regular monitoring of the Project List incl. in time escalation of potential miss of Plan respectively Prognosis targets 
  • Reporting of actual business situation from the supported region
  • Timely escalation of service performance issues re. delays and lacking quality of Service interventions
  • Preparation and execution of product trainings for Area Sales Managers
  • Support to marketing activities such as exhibitions, roadshows and showroom management
  • Preparation of market-relevant competitor information


Your profile



  • Academic degree in mechanical / electrical / mechatronics or manufacturing engineering or equivalent professional qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in service or sales-related function, application engineering position, engineering or technology of the machine tools 
  • Strong customer orientation and intercultural skills
  • Able to work without close supervision, target- and solution-driven approach
  • Strong presentation skills, including ability to explain complex technical issues in a simple way 
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 75 %)
  • Impeccable verbal and writing skills in English are essential, further language or languages incl. Japanese of advantage
