For our BACC (Business Analytics Competence Center) team we are now searching for our team in munich:

 

 

Cloud Data Engineer (m/f/d) 

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Maintenance and expansion of our metadata oriented ETL framework.
  • Administration of our Data Lakehouse.
  • Provision, operation, and monitoring of infrastructure and applications for Data Analysts, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists.
  • Integration of new data sources for our data platform in collaboration with business units.
  • Strategic planning and expansion of the BI architecture and data strategy of the DMG MORI Group in coordination with Data Engineers and Data Scientists.
  • Establish and enforce governance standards.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Relevant professional experience in the field of Cloud Data Engineering, preferably in the Azure environment.
  • Technologies: Azure Databricks with DLT and UC, MS Fabric.
  • Proficient Python skills
  • CI/CD and agile methods.
  • Interest in trends and tools in the Business Intelligence and Data Engineering field.
  • First experience with LLM’s in the ETL process.
  • Excellent English skills are required, German and Japanese language skills are desirable.
